These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Giligey platform, including all features, content, quizzes, assessments, and related services available at giligey.com. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing any part of the platform, or using any service offered by Giligey, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use, along with our Privacy Policy. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Giligey.

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last updated.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the platform independently. If you are under 16, you may only use the platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf.

By using the platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You are not prohibited from using the platform under any applicable law
• All information you provide during registration is accurate and current

3. Account Registration and Security

Certain features of the platform require you to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during the registration process and to keep your account details current.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at contact@giligey.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information, that have been inactive for an extended period, or that are found to be in violation of these terms.

4. Use of the Platform

4.1 Permitted Use

You may access and use the platform solely for lawful, personal, non-commercial educational purposes, unless you hold a valid commercial or institutional licence from Giligey. You may participate in quizzes, complete assignments, track your progress, and engage with learning content as intended by the platform.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Copying, reproducing, distributing, or publicly displaying any platform content without prior written permission
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of any part of the platform
• Using automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or interact with the platform
• Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any quiz, assessment, or form
• Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or organisation
• Uploading or transmitting malicious code, viruses, or any content that could harm the platform or its users
• Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the platform or its infrastructure
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or network connected to the platform
• Using the platform to engage in any activity that is unlawful, harmful, or offensive

4.3 Academic Integrity

You agree to complete all quizzes, tests, and assignments honestly and without assistance unless explicitly permitted. Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or misrepresentation of results is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension.

5. Intellectual Property

All content available on the platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, quiz questions, course materials, software, and interactive features, is the intellectual property of Giligey or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership rights over platform content. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the content solely for your personal educational use within the platform.

Any content you submit to the platform, including answers, feedback, and user-generated contributions, remains your property. However, by submitting such content, you grant Giligey a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, store, and process that content for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Free and Paid Features

The platform may offer both free and paid tiers of access. Features available under each tier are described on the platform and are subject to change. Access to premium features requires a valid subscription or one-time purchase.

6.2 Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis according to the plan you select. All prices are displayed inclusive of any applicable taxes where required. You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for all applicable fees.

6.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law or as stated in a separate refund policy.

6.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. We will provide reasonable advance notice of any price changes. Continued use of the platform after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The platform may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or services. These are provided for your convenience only. Giligey does not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.

8. Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using the platform, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The platform and all content within it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Giligey does not warrant that:

• The platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components
• Any content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose
• Results obtained through the platform will meet your expectations or requirements

Educational content on the platform is intended for general learning purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or business advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Giligey, its directors, employees, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunities.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Giligey in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or the equivalent of one month's subscription fee, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Giligey and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — shall remain in effect.

13. Modifications to the Platform

Giligey reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

14. Governing Terms

These Terms of Use represent the entire agreement between you and Giligey with respect to your use of the platform and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings relating to the same subject matter.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not be considered a waiver of those rights.
