Giligey occasionally brings in specialists for short-term projects — assessment design, localisation review, data analysis. If your background sits at the edge of business education and technology, a speculative note is worth sending.
Write to contact@giligey.com with a short description of what you do and what kind of problem you would want to work on. No cover letter template required.
Two people who shaped how we hire
Hiring at Giligey has never followed a fixed template. The process started with two people who believed that a short practical task reveals more than a two-hour panel interview.
Every candidate gets a realistic task drawn from actual work — a curriculum gap to diagnose, a bug to trace, or a community thread to respond to. The goal is to understand how someone thinks, not how well they rehearsed.
Tomáš Dvořáček
Head of Curriculum
"A good hire asks a question we hadn't thought to ask ourselves."
Síle Ní Fhaoláin
People Operations
"We look for people who are honest about what they don't yet know."
What working here actually looks like
Async by default
Most coordination happens through written updates, not scheduled calls. Meetings exist when a decision genuinely needs real-time input — not as a default for every discussion.
Structured feedback cycles
Every six weeks, each team member gets a written review of their recent work — not a performance score, but a specific account of what landed and what could be sharper.
No performance theatre
Work is evaluated on its actual effect — did the quiz completion rate improve, did the bug stay fixed, did learners understand the concept better. Visible effort without measurable outcome is not rewarded.
Learning budget, no conditions
Full-time team members receive an annual learning budget with no approval process. Spend it on a course, a conference, a book subscription — the only requirement is that it relates to your work in some way.
